To help you plan your event, here are some commonly asked questions about ordering your cake.
How far in advance do I need to order my cake?
If you know you have an event coming up, you can order now! Please do try to order in as far in advance as you can to secure a booking. Sometimes I have bookings a year in advance, and spaces do fill up.
What size cake do I need?
When we talk about your event I can give you some advice on how big a cake you will need for the number (and hungriness) of your guests.
Can you make a cake to suit my dietary requirements?
Yes! Tell me what you need and I’ll work to your requirements. I specialise in dairy-free cakes but can make cakes to suit other diets too.
How much are your cakes?
Unfortunately I can’t give you a fixed price here as all my cakes are bespoke. Pricing depends on the size of the cake and the amount of work that goes into it. If you have a budget in mind we can work to that.
What flavours can you do?
Pretty much anything! Lemon, vanilla and chocolate are firm favourites with my customers but coffee and walnut, cherry, banana are all common requests. Let me know your favourite flavours and I’ll see if I can work with those. And if you want different flavours for each tier, you can of course have that.
What food hygiene standards do you abide by?
I take food hygiene very seriously. Sugared Pumpkin was rated by the local authority and scored the highest possible rating. For more details on this, please see the Food Standards Agency rating for my business here.
